Gurugram, 1 December (IANS). Gurugram police have arrested two bike miscreants and claimed to have recovered six stolen vehicles from them.
Police said on Tuesday that 12 cases of bike theft have been solved with the arrest of these thieves. The suspect has been identified as Wasim and Abid. Both are residents of Noah district.
According to the police, the accused were active in Gurugram and Rewari and had committed the crime in both these districts. Both were jailed several times in Rewari and Gurugram. Both were currently out on the vine and were perpetrating the crime.
Crime unit Manesar in-charge Amit Kumar said, “We had received intelligence about these suspects.” The suspects had stolen more than a dozen vehicles in recent times.
He said the suspects were arrested from Panchgaon Chowk near National Highway 48 on November 29 and have been in police remand ever since.
