The Guardian reported that Arsenal is about to sign Chelsea winger Maduaike for £52 million.

Maduaike has agreed to a five-year contract and is expected to move to Emirates Stadium soon. Arsenal also plans to chase Eze of Crystal Palace.

Maduaike is able to support Saka on the right and also provide more options for Arteta on the left. As Chelsea brought in Drapp, Gittens, Estevan and Joao Pedro this summer, Maduaike has limited chances at Chelsea, so he decided to seek new challenges.

Chelsea was fined for violating fiscal fair play rules and therefore needed to increase revenue by selling players. The sale of Maduaike will help improve their financial situation.

Chelsea believes that Maduaike has not made enough progress and has only played a "small role" in the Club World Cup and is unlikely to participate in the final against Paris Saint-Germain.

Maduaike is 23 years old and an English striker. He contributed 11 goals and 4 assists for Chelsea 41 times last season, and Germany's turnaround is worth 40 million euros.
