Haaland once again performed well for Manchester City in October. He scored twice against Monaco and then broke through the defense to score the only goal against Brentford, helping the team win 1-0. The Norwegian striker then scored two goals in five minutes against Everton in a 2-0 win, and then opened the scoring against Villarreal in the Champions League, a 2-0 victory.
Nunez also performed well in October, and the Portuguese had a solid performance at the right back position. Finally, Nico is also a strong contender for this monthβs award. The young Spanish player was clean in possession and became an important part of City's midfield, replacing Rodri when needed. Nico Gonzalez and Nunes are both seeking their first Player of the Month awards.
