Alan Shearer was a guest on The Rest Is Football podcast and talked about the Premier League's championship situation.
Eze scored a hat-trick in the North London Derby to help Arsenal beat rival Tottenham 4-1. Shearer said: "You can tell that Eze is having the best day of his life. He is absolutely enjoying it, holding the ball, light touches, skills and finishing. He is really unstoppable, and Tottenham's defense was completely wrong. They gave him and others too much space to play."
"But Eze Ze was fantastic, he looked like he belonged on that stage, he enjoyed the applause and everything he got. So happy for him, he was basically unstoppable and his performance was really fantastic."
When asked about Arsenal's most likely title challenger, Shearer replied: "I would still say Manchester City, we have seen Manchester City push after Christmas before, they are used to it, they can do it, we know. "I know things are different and defensively they're definitely not as good as they used to be, but because they've been through it, they know what to do, they know what they're going to face, I would still say Manchester City are the team most likely to challenge Arsenal."
When asked if Liverpool should be excluded from the title race, Shearer replied: "I think yes, they are. They have lost six games in the league."
Another host of the show, Manchester City veteran Richards, said: "I would also say Manchester City, but I think Chelsea can beat any opponent when they are in good condition. I think Chelsea can perform very well, just like what we saw in the Club World Cup, but they are making progress."
