Singaporean companies have also performed outstandingly in emerging fields, with tourism service companies such as Xinxiang Group (SATS), Changi Airport Group, etc. among the fastest-growing revenue companies. Fortune said that this trend benefited from the recovery of tourism, resource export demand and regional digital transformation.

Energy is the dominant industry in this list, accounting for nearly one-third of the total revenue; the financial industry is the second largest industry, among which DBS Holdings (DBS) ranked first in Southeast Asia's banking industry in terms of revenue and profit.

Fortune magazine released the "Top 500 Southeast Asia" list on Tuesday (June 17), and Singapore leads Southeast Asia in key indicators such as revenue, profit and assets. Singapore-based commodity trader Trafigura tops the list for the second consecutive year, with revenues of more than US$243 billion (about S$311.5 billion) last year.

A total of 81 Singaporean companies were listed this year, and although the number was less than that of Indonesia (109) and Malaysia (92), Singaporean companies occupied two seats in the top five. In addition to Tok Group, Wilmar Internal and Olam Grourp ranked fourth and fifth respectively.
