The official website of Manchester United stated that the official Manchester United fan club raised a total of £41,000 for the Manchester United Foundation in the 2024/25 season. We are very proud to cooperate with 334 official fan clubs in 91 countries to deepen the connection between the club and local and global fans. The work of the Manchester United Foundation is deeply rooted in the spirit of our club and is supported by fan clubs around the world. In April this year, 12 participants from the Foundation’s partner high school had an unforgettable experience in Limassol, Cyprus, organized by our official Cyprus fan club.
This season, our fan club has raised a total of £41,000 donations for the Manchester United Foundation through six warm-up events and a season-end celebration dinner. The beloved warm-up is one of the many benefits of being a member of the official fan club. These events are usually held the night before home games, with up to 350 fan club members gathering in the Stretford stands to meet former Manchester United players, communicate with other Red Devils fans from all over the world, and enjoy legendary Q&A, live music and other events.
Fan Engagement Director Rick Meggar said: "We are very pleased to have raised over £40,000 for the Manchester United Foundation through our collaborative activities with the official fan club this season. Their generous contribution is very important and will allow the Foundation to help more young people in the Greater Manchester area. Our global fan club network has provided tremendous support for the teams and clubs, and it is great to see that this support extends to the Foundation. We look forward to raising more funds next season and looking for other ways to connect fans, clubs and foundations more closely. "I am always surprised by Manchester United's global support. Their love and enthusiasm for the club is beyond doubt; their connection and participation goes far beyond what is on the court.
